Hi!

I have got this card today:
http://www.pointofview-online.com/default2.asp?content_id=1836

So, in my opinion its too loud. And its seems, that no matter, what I set in Rivatuner or EVGA Precission, it always spins at the same speed.

I can replace the card by another one within the next 7 days. Should I? Are other cards better? I mostly do 2D, so a fan controllable card would be much better for me.

From the shop I could choose:
Zotac GeForce 9600 GT, 512MB
EVGA GeForce 9600 GT, 512MB EVGA GeForce 9600 GT, 512MB

Forceware is V180.48.

Bye

There is no fan control. There is only a two pin wire coming off of the fan.

Thx, very fast :)

I know, on the picture it is, but in reality it is not. I took a look, its 4 wires.

With the 2 cards I listed, is fan control working there?

Best regards

I would go with the evga card if possible. It's strange that your card has a 4 pin connector and it doesn't work. You could try using an older version of evga precision to see if it works.

I tried an older version of EVGA precession. No change.

Will switch to the EVGA card till the end of the week. I hope there it works.
