im trying to recover pictures for my friend. he has nearly 2000 pictures, mostly his baby when it was born. so they are very very important to him. here is the problem. when the card is inserted, all i get is five first images ( i figure they are first because of image name i00000, i00001 ect). next images from i00005-11 are unreadable jpgs, 12 is a 22mb tif, 13-26 unreadable jpgs, 27 tif 20mb, then from 27-44 they alternate between jpg and tif. the most interesting one though is i000045.tif, which is 7.5gb in size. all the jpgs and tif images, my computer cannot read. now here is the question... are they gone for good, or is there i program besides windows explorer i can use to check them?
strange update: i managed to open the card with windows explorer, and it displayed 1130 images. but it was still sort of looking for more. i tried to copy, but windows explorer froze..
