problem with 9800se soft mode

HI. Sorry of my bad english. OK, i have ati radeon 9800se and i use a softmode drivers to open all 8 pipelines. It works buth when i try to find max cpu core on ati tool i see yelou dots over the hole box when she is moving. Also in ati tool i see 8 pipelines opened. Annything else work ok. Does my card is not good for soft mode and i need to instan normal driver or this is normal. I am usin 9800se for gaming.
