Running vista-64bit operating system. Have several 1 and 2 TB drives that share fine. Just got an Ultraspeed External 4TB RAID external hard drive and it works fine on any one computer.
When I try to share the other computers on the wireless network get the "you don't have permission" error. Computers can see the drive, just can't access it. My other drives work in the same usb port.
I can see it with my WDTV Live Plus Media player but when I try to open the folder it says that it does not contain any media.
I have the sharing/permissions set up the same way for my smaller drives. Do I have to partition this drive? Reformat? I am formatting it now but it's going to take a couple of days I think.
