Problems with Gainward 4870 GS 1gb and Prolimatech MK-13

Hi guys...i bought Prolimatech MK-13...because stock cooling on Gainward was crappy.So i installed the cooler puted Heatsinks on ram...and 2x120mm fans...but card doesnt react on anything.When i turn on computer i see like 2 sec of Post msg and than i just get NO SIGNAL.I let card run for few mins but its still cold?:S is card dead or what?:banghead:
AM using my old ati x1600xt now :( ... PLease help :(

Re-sit it and make sure you do not tighten up the GPU screws to much.

Any lights show up on the back of the card ?. And make sure those vrms are covered well, i opted not to use any of them and got other heatsinks to do the job.

VRMs are covered very well....memory aswell....
No lights show at all :p
And to be honest i think the heatsink is not covering whole GPU...dont have camera atm but i think there is 1mm free space on one side...screws are not tighten too much :s
edit: i used arctric silver 5 carefully tho...

You could try putting the stock cooler back on and see if it goes then. Does the heatsink move much ? ( be carefull ).

I found that with mine that you could tilt the heatsink a little so i used extra washers ( card washers ) so it tightens up better

Yes i used washers aswell...and no heatsink doesnt move at all...
I forgot to check forums and news are:
When i installed card,,,and saw that is not detected...i waited around 30 mins...(was using x1600Xt) and than puted 4870 back into computer...card worked perfectly.
And today i came home from University...turned on computer...and again NO Signal...card is warm tho....and on my mobo (Crosshair IV) red led diode is shiny:( VGA...
Dont know what to do really:( again am back on X1600:(
Edit: Tried with Stock Cooling and its not working :( guess its dead...

I dont even know what the hell happened to this Card?
Windows recognize it..and install drivers for it...(am running with 2 cards atm) this one is *slave* and when i attach DVI cable to it.. ofc no signal:p
Could this be dual-bios crashed? or its just dead?
Shall i try to Flash bios? thanks.

Never tried SLI or CF but mixing a x1600 and a 4870 is not going work. Which might explain why you getting that in the link.

Any chance you could try it in another system ?

No mate...i tried with Sapphire 4870 as card 1 and my Gainward 4870 as card 2...
Used AtiFlash and downloaded normal/turbo mode bios from TPU...sucessfully Updated bios but still no signal on gainward :S
