Howdy all,
I am looking for the setup/config/user manual for an IBM SanBlade QLE2462 Qlogic Card.
I have an IBM Blade server here that is no longer able to see it's discs on the SAN.
I've been shown the most basic setup and trouble shooting steps to follow and I can see that both of the fibre adapters are both working, the adapters how ever cannot see the SAN/ the servers dedicated hard discs for some reason.
The last time this happened I had an IBM Technicial specialist in the server room with me and we were able to get this thing working (in about an hour).
The problem was that the host adapters first port went dead, so we moved the fibre cable to the second port of the first card and configured port two in the exact same way as the first port was configured.
I went through the same steps with this server tonight and so far nothing. I do not have access to the SVC consoles to see if I can check the Qlogic path from the host adapter to the hard discs in the SAN.
I am sure that the problem lies on the servers fibre host adapters config table though.
I need to find a more in depth explanation on how to trouble shoot/configure these devices from scratch again.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
