Hi ppl,I have a Gecube 9800pro R360 128mb 256bit,when I bouth the card (used) it came already as "xt" but the cores were not the same as the xt..so I flashed a new bios and didn't save the other...
Now I am with e-die bios for smasung and r360..but I have serious problems reaching the xt memspeed...even giving volts to the card (it is vmoded) and I think it is a bios issue..because for example..yesterday it run fine @439/351 and 1 or 2 mhz more in the mems but if I push the thing 1 or two mhz it gives lots of texture corruption..it doesn't show me small artifacts...
I tried the 9800xt bios of gecube in mvktech.net and it showed me lots of artifcats even in 2d...
and in your site the bios for gecube 980xt is from a 9600xtg..what do I do?
other question where can i measure the vddq?

You didn't save the BIOS! Oh dear. Well I guess that's one mistake you will never repeat again in your life.

Go back to basics. Install a regular 9800pro BIOS onto the card and get it working stable.

Once you are happy with 9800pro, you can ATI Tool the frequencies, and once you are happy with your "overclock", you can use RaBiT to "burn" the frequency to BIOS.

Don't worry about the XT vs. PRO BIOS, ie. R360 vs. R350. The optimisations are SO MINOR they don't even register on the richter scale. Just don't load a R360 BIOS onto an R350 or there will be problems. A R350 BIOS on a R360 is, however, OK.

well I went to the pro clocks with the e die bios for r360 128mb samsung..oced to 438/355 and it seems stable now...
can anybody say me where do I measure the vddq?and what do vref and vddq do?
one strange thing
in your page it says the "normal " volts for the 9800/98200pro but my card seems to be subvolted..
vgpu 1.7 ok
vdd 2.5.. the "normal" is 2.9 :S it is because of the samsung mems?what is the secure votlage to give to this mems?I have sinks and a fan blowin air
vref 1.43 it is +- since the "normal" is 1.45

now I have the vmods on the minimum vdd 2.66 vgpu 1.75

my card is here

GeCube 9800PRO with XT bios if i'm correct. I had that card before. Its best if you go for the Omega if you dont like CCC. If not just go for CCC drivers.
