So my title says it all but let me get my details out in the open:
The temp on my first GPU (as you can see on my desktop screen) is a little bit high for idle temp.
These pictures are from my Motherboard and my GPUs Design.

The gears seem pretty dated. Time for maybe dust cleanup? Maybe redo pasting on CPU as well as your GPU.

Did you replace the thermal paste? It can dry out and stop functioning.

I got that GPU 2 years now and it didn't show any high idle temps until now.
Second one is a little younger but has good temps.
What I'm thinking is that because on the MOBO they are close, first has high temps...

That's not extremely high temps. What are your temps at load?

Again, those are acceptable temp and are well within t-function.

on idle its very high temp for this card, so something is wrong here, did you never try bit coin ? or something like that ? becouse its looks like you have bit coin trojan

i know, when peoples have sli/crossfire first gpu always hotter but not like than and on idle.

How can you be so certain that he has a bitcoin trojan without seeing what processes he is running in the background?

OP also hasnt answered the million dollar question that 2 or 3 members have already asked...

"has the thermal paste been replaced?"

Until then i dont think this thread will go anywhere

I would remove that/those plastic shrouds let those cards get more air.

As well repaste and oil fans if possible.

I would take the hot card apart again, re-paste it and re-seat it. Check to make sure the fan is running as well.

Only first card running gets normal temps ( as second card in CFX ).
I have little space between cards and very little airflow between them...
I am thinking of getting rid of both cards and getting 1 better one (above 160gb/s bandwidth).
Want to get R9 280 or 280x.....
Opinions are welcome

Fans are running OK on both cards, reposted and repeated them 2 days ago....

So it's perfectly logical then. The following steps are often taken: 1) Increase airflow by randomly strapping fans to the cards, 2) realize it doesn't really help and 3) then get something new if you want to upgrade.

This is exactly what you should do. Ditch the 2 old slow cards and enjoy one fast card with my power and vram. Go for as good of a card as you can afford.

Additionally, I would remove the second card while keeping the first card (the hot card installed), and then run whatever to see if the cards still acts the same. If the card is still hot, there could have been an issue reinstalling the heatsink; if card runs cool, then it's just lack of airflow and spacing.

Swap the 1st card for the 2nd and check temps again that will give you some indication if you have ventilation /cooling problems

1 card will run a lil warmer, because it is the one higher than the other (heat rises) Also Prioritization has that card as the master card. If it is not crashing or erroring out don't screw with it.

also those cards sit pretty close in that board, bet you don't have much room in the case either

Exactly what I was going to suggest. Swapping the cards and then check temps. If the card is still running hot then remove it pull the Heatsink and re apply the thermal paste. Also what thermal paste did you use?
