Really need some help

I recently bought 16gigs of Patriot Viper 3 ddr3 2400mhz ram (4x4). I installed them into my PC and when i tried to boot, nothing happened. Could this be a compatibility issue or just simple person error?

My set up as follows

Amd fx 8320 (o.c @ 3.6)
Msi 970 gaming mobo
Raid max 850watt psu
2x amd radeon r7 240 gpu's
8 gigs of corsair am3s ddr3 2000mhz ram

If im missing something im sorry...just let me know.

The memory model

First step would be to turn off your overclock and reset the bios

Thank you for your help... I will start coming here from now on. I now know my mobo does not support 2400 ram .. Disappointed

It should run at a slower speed. Reset the bios and try to boot to one stick

boot up with default "JEDEC" memory spd, and check XMP profile for correct settings,
as @Jetster mentioned, clear CMOS first
