Running Win & and not letting me register a OCX file

Hello everybody i have tried everything to register this damn comdlg32.ocx file for the life of me i have run the command prompt normal and in Admin mode i have tried installing all the Visual basic fils i could find and i keep getting the same error when i try to register the file does anybody know of any other way of getting the damn file working and registered and litterly i mean i have tried anything i could find

There is no 64 bit version of comdlg32.ocx. It's 32 bit, but
you can still register the ocx.
In Vista Ultimate x64, you need to place the Comdlg32.ocx in the directory C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ you can then run "regsvr32
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Comdlg32.ocx" and it should register the file.

open an elevated command prompt. then type:

regsvr32 C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Comdlg32.ocx

I pick this info up over at Vista forums and it worked for me. Hope it works for you.:)

woot woot thxs 95Viper every other place was telling me to put it in the system32 folder i wasen't even thinking of the 64 folder thxs again worked like a charm
