Finally got the parts installed after receiving them yesterday. Everything fit perfectly except the EK bolts had to be trimmed for radiator clearance.
Performance wise, max load temps dropped 8C from 60 to 52 on Prime 95 Large FFT tests with E8500 @ 3.8
Idle temps are pretty much the same as my Zalman 9700 @ about 40 C with ambient at 25. Not too sure if the idle temps are accurate.
System runs very silent
Except when the 4870 mimics a vacuum cleaner at start-up.
