I can't seem to decide whether or not I should have my PSU facing up or down in this case. It has a bottom grill for airflow to the PSU, but I am worried that that might not be enough. The pictures speak better though (sorry for the terrible quality, my ditital camera is MIA):

Without the PSU in the case:

With the PSU in the case, facing up:

My whole case so far, to give an idea of the airflow:

I put my graphics card that low in order to maximize the effect of the special fan next to it, and I have yet to install my sound card. My PSU is 850 watts, and delivers teh 70 amps it promised at 50C (which is what I hope it stays around).

So, should I face the PSU fan down towards the grating, or up towards the graphics card?

Does the case always sit on the carpet?

If so the airflow may be restricted if the fan is on the bottom.

I have my PSU fan on the bottom of my 900, but I got taller feet, and it sits on my desktop!

It will normally be on a wooden surface, so I'm guessing I should face it downwards.

Thanks :)

Actually its not a bad idea. It works out pretty good. And if Im not mistaken, in my 900 (which is now replaced with my new system) there are some sort of raised silicon feet or metal bumps or something. It keeps it from being flush with the Case.

Excellent wiring job my friend.

I actually got taller feet and cut a hole where the fan pulls air in at the bottom!

My case is a solid inch off of the table with the new feet!
