Silent/quiet R9 390X

I have ordered the LG 34UC98-W with freesync and a Sapphire R9 390X but should i have ordered the fury version a bit faster and very silent? (surprised because it's surpose to be more silent then the sapphire R9 390)

It would have been a little more silent but not night and day.

It would have had a little more performance as well.

Well, I generally prefer more VRAM for longer usage over time but that's just me. Though in your case, I think you will be better off with the extra ram for that resolution.

Honestly, it would be a tough call.

a bit oftopic can someone confirm what range the lg model has the acer that some mentioned is cheaper and also has freesync is surpose to go from 30-75hz http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/reviews/acer_xr341ck.htm but the lg only 48 or 55hz and up to 75hz

55-75hz for the LG Freesync range.

Must admit i don't like the acer stand, if i buy different stand price wouldn't be different but is it worth it? Acer Predator XR341CK instead of LG 34UC98?

Of the two, I would definitely get the Acer over the LG looking at them side by side.

tried to find a ultra wide stand to use on my desk couldn't find one, i have a huge mouse pad (900mmx450mm) that might be in the way of the feet/stand on the acer

No i can't mount it secure, i don't have a desk with a wooden board and 4 legs

Most games do fine with 4gb like the Fury got but some games depending on ur resolution would love +4gb even ik that running 2560x1440@120hz

I desided to cancel my order for a r9 390x (sapphire) and the lg 34 98 freesync monitor, i think it's the top of the line 34" lg monitor. freesync range was to high and narrow (55-75hz) gpu more weak then what i use for 2560x1440

My asus gtx 980 strix is silent and faster then a r9 390x,.

I have ordered a acer predator x34 it goes all the way up to 100hz and gsync range is 30-100hz
