Hello,

I find the stock Pot on the FM121 not too precise.

Hence I want to change it with a potentionmeter that is more precise,

can anyone tell me what potentionmeter I will need for this, like what range?

Thanks

Chris

I guess 2x the stock range would be nice

FM 121 Pots

Ok i calculated the pot included with the FM-121 fan

it's range is : 0 Ohms to 10K Ohms

Now i calculated the resistance of the fan at 30 Ohms

and for me to get the fan down to 7VDC (it's starting voltage)

I need to add about 22 Ohms

So i guess a Pot of 20 Ohms should be perfect Right?

I can reduce the pot to 0 resistance to get the full 12V
and then when I max out the pot I should get a tad above 7VDC right?

Please correct me if I'm wrong

Thanks !
