Do I even need to ask? I'm looking at a silverstone 750w strider modular. For the price, this is not a bad psu, correct?

My corsair tx750 failed me miserably, to the point I may have to make a huge apology to a manufacturer, so I'm waiting for the silverstone with baited breath....

I just tried a 3rd gtx card on the corsair, I couldn't even load windows. Put the 9800gtx back in, and windows loads. I'm almost dead sure it's the psu now. Ordering the silverstone Wed morning. I hope a Palit rep is watching this thread, because if this goes the way I think it will, the 280 is okay, always was, the corsair was a dog. And I'll owe an apology. But so will Corsair.

Silverstone is a great Maker. Strider is their "mid-range" psu. If you can get the decathlon version, I would say get that over anything else.. The strider isn't bad. Don't get me wrong there. I love mine. Just know I wish I would of grabbed a Decathlon instead of the Strider.

Yeah, I say that one.. But, that's only if your going to do heavy on the system.. if it's going to be your normal system specs, one in your specs now, then a strider is good enough.

The strider has 2 8pin pcie and 2 6, probably good enough! The other one has quad 6 pin, I don't need that. Thanks guys!

i don't think 750 watts is enough to run 3 GTX cards...

Heheh, nope, that's what the dec series is for. That's why I only need the strider. Even then, the dec has quad 6 pin and single 8 pin?? What does that do?
And no, not trying to run tri-sli, but do have one gtx280 and 2 gtx260s, all fail to run on this psu at this time.
