I just got a HIS x1950pro from Newegg, and I noticed a slight curvature to the board as I look down its length, perhaps 2-3mm variance. Not too serious, but there nonetheless.

I haven't gotten my new board yet (asus p5w dh) so I can't test it out....is this fishy? Or within tolerances?

my x1950xt had a 'curve' to it.. presumably the huge fan mounted on it.. it will probably be fine.

I've seen the same and found when putting on the Tyee wb as I tightin the screws it would make the board warp as well ... but it usually is the HSF that warps the PCB

See if you can back off the pressure from the heat sink mounts. The installation lady might have screwed it on too tight.

My X1800XT has the same issue, no problems with it (knocks on wood).

I remember when i used to slap the stock cooler for the 775 skt...for some boards (especially the ones w/o heat pipes) would bow the board.

I'll try to back off the screws a tad and see if that helps - it was an "openbox" newegg special for $170 so I'm knocking on wood too :p
