Hi
I need some opinion about the memory read / write speed of my CG...
I´m using a MSI B550 Gaming plus with a 5600G processor. Graphic card is pcie 4.0 conected in 3.0, has 8 lines and not 16 : maybe the reason the speed is so slow ? But even twice the speed it´ll give about 12Mb/s which is slow too.
I´d like to understand.
Thanks in advance

5600G is the cause of PCI-e 3.0 and 8x mode. Its is sharing the bandwidth with the IGP (even when turned off) and the PCI-e slot.

IGP is off indeed and ReBar enabled. I know about pcie 3.0 8x mode due do 5600G. But 6GB/s of GPU memory read/write ??? Seems like DDR1 from 90's.
With a 5000x series it will be 12GB/s or more ?

When running at 3.0 mode it also means half of the bandwidth.

Hi
See attached file. Does this mean GPGPU from Aida64 gives false results (or gpu is idle during this mem benchmark) ?
Don't know GpuZelenograd does actually.
Thanks

Yes, but twice the actual value gives 12GB/s. It's low ... I have about 47GB/s with my system DDR4. DDR5 from the GPU is suposed to be very fast.

You can check VRAM clock speeds in GPUz during AIDA test to see if the card boosts correctly. From what I remember, those memtest_vulkan results are OK.

read / write test is very quick. Even puting gpuz at a refresh rate of 0,1s it´s hard to be sure : it seems though that gpu and memory are kind of sleeping during test.
However, considering this test my results are ok : 12GB/s in this review and I have 6GB/s because of my pcie 3.0 8 lines
In short, it seems that my results are ok.
Thank you guys
