Well, it's time to say goodbye to the old warrior. I'm sending it off to fight new battles for a new owner, and this is your gain!

Nearly pristine condition and high ASIC (81%). Runs quietly, even at higher fan speeds.

Never overclocked, and when set up with a good 8 point fan profile, it never got above 70C.

Because there have been several people on the forum lately that feel we are emotionally attached to cards, and insult people for it. That was for them.

Yes,with all BFridays around is hard ...but eventualy someone will take it..

It was on my option 780 to move from my old R9270X-DC2T-2GD5,but i didn't find one at that time..so pick 280x

It refers to the type of cooler used, which is a blower cooler, as opposed to an aftermarket cooler designed by various vendors to suit various tastes.

Usually an aftermarket Add In Board Cooler (like when you see 2 or 3 fans) is going to be cooler and quieter. This reference cooler on the 780 is a higher quality heatsink (a vapor-chamber) than normally found on a lower card reference cooler, and the blower fan and motor are higher quality than found on lower end cards.

The one you see there is perfectly good at cooling a 780, and although quiet, is not quite as quiet as say an ACX cooler on other EVGA 780's. It does expel the hot air directly out of the case though.
