I thought some labeled Astrium a fake news outlet, I stopped watching they're output due to this.

I take it that's not right?

I'm surprised this isn't below the minimum focusing distance of this telescope.

Hmmm interesting thought, but you don't need to refocus when panning from a galaxy to a planetary nebula to a solar system object in a 5" backyard telescope or big 24" Dobsonian, and the distances to those are orders of magnitudes different. Hubble's optics aren't that different so it stands to reason that it also needs minuscule refocusing if any.

Very much not so. I'm subbed to Alex for a long time, he's 100% legit. You may be thinking of Ridddle and likewise channels - those are confirmed fakes/content mills.

I had watched load's before I heard that, did seem odd given his content, perhaps I do but it was a few mentioned and a while ago, so likely just me that heard it wrong or recalled wrong.

I want Webb to get a detailed Image of a Neutron Star.

I'm pretty sure Webb can't image any individual stars, they're just too far away. You'd need interferometry and that means ground based-scopes for now. However a second and third Webb-type scope in two of the other Lagrange Points connected as an inferometer could easily do that. Maybe in 50 150 years.

IIRC, the minimum focusing distance of the HST is 500miles.

No, totally not right. He sometimes glosses over facts, but "fake" is not an accurate description.

I want Webb to get a detailed Image of a Neutron Star.

It has size of below middle asteroid. Only falling matter will produce light but surface area is too small to be seen from big distance. Is more possible to saw massive black hole than neutron star.
