So, I was browsing the Origin store this morning and came across STAR WARS Battlefront "Battle of Jakku" addon for free. I click download now and it took me through the whole process of purchasing a game at 0 dollars. Now it's downloading! So, if you haven't got it yet get it now! I just bought the Standard edition for 35.

This still works! get it while you still can guys!
Just did it on my phone, if your work blocks EVERYTHING in the universe, you can do it on the phone lol

How many maps are there for the mode with the AT-AT? That seemed to be the primary mode. Was not a fan of the beta, but I am running out of things to play. How many people still play the game on PC? Will a seasons pass be more or less required?

there are 4 walker assault maps originally plus the newly added battle for Jarkoo(however it is spelled). Yes there are plenty that play the game. Season pass is if you want the dlc content when it comes out. If you are happy with all the modes and play type, cargo, driod run, supremacy, heros vs, etc... then the choice is yours.

Yea, like @flmatter said 4 maps for the base game and 1 extra map for the, "Battle of Jakku" addon. The "Walker Assault" mode is my favorite so far, but I've not tried them all. The "Fighter Squadron" looks like fun.

Yea, it could use more, but I like it. The maps are pretty big. I played blaster for the first time and it felt like all new maps.

EDIT: I like it for 35 bucks.. I wouldn't pay anymore for it and the addons will have to be really good for me to sink anymore money into it. I didn't buy any of BF4's content..

You bet, the maps for the different modes are unique to each game type, which is cool. The Blast maps are among the best.

BF4's expansions did bring in a good bit of content. Only one new vehicle sadly, and they started skimping on new weapons. BF3's had more content. But at least we got 2 1/2 free maps and a few weapons in the last few months.

Yea, I bought BF3's expansions, but really didn't play it them that much.. Mainly because I only liked Metro. I really liked all the maps for BF4, but the pacific map was my favorite. After finding out about the glitch if a person died in front of you then you were invincible as long as you stayed behind the dead body. I just hung it up.

The thing I really didn't like about the beta is how the vehicle spawns were handled. I just found it awkward and got killed while trying to activate them, or run to cover to activate them.

They screwed the pooch big time by removing the soldier classes and going with the silly collectable power up crap. That brain child of jackassery took out a mountain of content with one fell swoop.

I do agree the classes would be awesome to have but keep the power ups but make them more class specific that spawn when certain things are met, ie.... 10 in a row kills, 2 hand gerande kills etc....

I wasn't a fan of the whole card mechanic either. Especially since joining your friends was a pain. Not too sure how all this changed in the retail versions.

Nope. I made the dumb mistake of doing it. Ill tell them to stay FAR away from it too.

Naaa I didn't do Hardline and I haven't bought a COD in YEARS. Star Wars I even knew better. I KNEW what I was doing but the little kid in me really wanted to take an AT-AT down. I'm not complaining. Fire is hot and water is wet. EA makes cash grabs. Point?
