I've got a file server set up with some Samba shares on it. I'd been running XP and everything was peachy. I just switched to Vista, and now, for some reason, Vista will disconnect from the network share after about 30 minutes. If I disconnect the drive and reconnect, I'm good for another 30 minutes. And it's 30 minutes of accessing the share. If I'm streaming a movie from the share, I'm good for 30 min. If I copy a file, then 2 hours later, want to copy another file, it's fine. It's just continuous use that causes the problem. Is there something in Vista that is causing this?
