Stupid problem with 24pin PSU cable

so since last month was having problems with my rig simply switching off.

i took out the parts out of the case and started troubleshooting. i lost hope and almost RMA'ed the motherboard.
everything works except the the cpu and the gpu, with the CPU_LED turning red.

it turns out that when i bend the big 24pin eatx power cable a little bit, the whole thing worked like a charm. when i set the cable loose the cpu stops powering up.

the PSU is fine, so the problem lies in the 24pin cable, this is a stupid fkin problem to have, but im happy that i discovered it
so i have to bend it to work it

any suggestions? RMA the PSU?

RMA if you can, prolly have a bad crimp job Or if you're up to it pull the connector and run through all the crimp's 1 by 1

yeah it is strange because i thought the cpu takes power from the eps connector.

well im still open on what is causing this.
but i simulated what i did a dozen times and so far it appears to be the 24pin connector

probly a bad crimp or break in the wire ... nothing a wirestriper can't fix ...just a matter of locating what wire it is ....

^ It could be this. Check for loose pins in the 24 pin socket on the motherboard.

could be from bad connection or loose contact or the worst is broken pins contact
i suggest try the psu with other board and check it again
so you can see your psu pins that err or your board pins that err
