PCGAMER just released this. Look encouraging for us PC gamers.

According to this, it appears there is nothing to worry about visually. It's all there as expected, IF you have the horsepower. It also didn't give me the impression at all that my 780 will have anything to worry about at 1080p. In fact, the 960 will likely only manage medium, I'm betting.

I am sure that turning off the classic horrible motion blur as well as useless MSAA (i guess we can tweak the game throught notepad to set to FXAA, or force it in gpu control panel) and well... maybe even drop the grass to High and we can all run it above 60fps at 1080.

yeah I got a 1440p 144hz and I think even with a Titan I need to turn down some things like I just described above if I want over 60fps.

I spoke with a level designer on the differences between 2013 and now. He remains adamant that they have not removed assets despite level of detail translucency (such as in foggy daytime conditions) being lower. After having played it on the PS4 for about a week now, I can say the game looks excellent regardless. Some areas definitely look better than others.

But I suspected as much that the levels are made in a great hurry...

Okay, does anybody know, does the game do Crossfire? Do I have a point borrowing a second 7970? Anyone saw some pre-benches on them?

I'm guessing it's best to wait for amd to release a driver (like always when it comes to crossfire)...it's an nvidia optimized game, and at the moment the game seems to favor gcn 1.2 over 1.0...I wanted myself to buy another r9 270x for it but i don't want to see the money gonig to waste,better wait for a few hours.

edit2: you can start the game by running the binary from \the witcher 3\bin\x64
