yea, vs your 7900GT, its nearly twice as fast, I had the XFX 7950GT and the 8800GS murders it at even with severely limited pci-e speed of 4x and pretty much all of them will run at 700/1750/1000 which gives stock 8800GT performance at under 1600x1200, they volt mod a little under 850 on their cores but I hear some can get to almost 900 on them

when they first came out they weren't very fast but now that that the drivers have matured when, overclocked they really shine

is your cpu a dual core hat, I haven't had one of those before

Nope, it's a single core. Doesn't make much of a diffrence in the games I have though, except maybe Crysis.

Bah, I want it now. Can anyone find this *in stock* anywhere for a similar price, or some other $50-$60 wonder deal? I googled around for this model and found it for the same prize at zimzoomfly but it was out of stock there as well.

I'm pretty sure that card has been replaced with a lower shader version.

People were just recently buying it though. I wouldn't want the 48 shader version.
