thread is kind of a branch off of my previous thread (many thanks to all members who helped out)

my case = lian li k58w, has 2 slots on top that fit two 140mm fans. am i wrong to assume that its fine to stick a 280mm rad up there? such as the kraken x60 or the h110 radiators? is there any limitations that i should worry about? like the sheer length or girth of these 280 rads? or mounting holes? I'm tempted to get the corsair over the kraken only because of the 5yr vs 2yr warranty.

im a total newb to water and wanted experienced members to help me out here.

Hi

Just need to be carefull with measurements of the combined width of the RAD & Fans

Kraken x60 Dimension Rad 280 x 27.0 x 312.5mm Fan 140 x 140 x 25 mm Dimension
Source
27+25= 52mm drop

Hydro Series H110 Rad 140mm x 312mm x 29mm Fan 140mm x 25mm dimension
Source
29+25= 54mm drop

Measure the drop from the inside of the case from the [top/rear] and the length toward the 5,1/4" bays
Example
MOBO Drop and length.jpg

Make sure that motherboard 8pin power cables, components and heatsink clear the fans/rad & case

atb (all the best)
