It has come to my attention that A steam group does not exist in the forums. I just wanted to make this so that people can request entry and overall so members new or old know that their is a group of TPU users who all enjoy gaming together on the steam platform. As well as have a place to centralize on steam problems or popular games. Maybe even some friendly competition etc. If you have an event in mind just PM me and the details will be updated in this post for community gaming sessions etc.

    Links:
    Main Group:

    TPU L4D Group:
    http://steamcommunity.com/groups/tpul4d

    TPU TF2 Group:
    http://steamcommunity.com/groups/tputf2clubhouse

    Administrators
    Solaris17 (Main TPU Group)
    Black Panther (Main TPU Group)
    Mussels (Main TPU Group)
    TheMailMan (TPU L4D Group)
    KTR (TPU TF2 Group)

    Pro Tips:
The easiest and fastest way to be someones friend or get accepted to the TPU group is by way of providing a VALID steam ID NOT a SCREENNAME searching for a screen name will provide 0 or wrong resualts. However providing your steam ID is fast and painless. The easiest way to get your steam Id is to look at your unique URL. For example mine is

    http://steamcommunity.com/id/Solaris17

The "Solaris17" is what the admins and myself would search for when sending invites. That is what we need. AKA Screen names DO NOT help us. Unless you are already one of our friends we cannot invite you by screenname alone. As screen names as previously stated make searching for you TEDIOUS.

I would also like to take this time to welcome our new admin for the TPU offical group Black Panther. who will help fill in the gap between me and mussels sleeping schedule. :toast:

    Hi Sol,

You can invite me if you would like. Both ID and Screen name are Kreij.
(You're on my friends list anyway.)

Send me an invite name is edited for my own reasons. I mostly play single player games on steam but once in a while I might play some DungeonDefenders or some such crap!

Yeah ... since October of 2009. lol

Seems I must have blocked a previous invite or something (I'm really a Steam noob) and it let me change my mind and join. I did notice I had an invite from Sol (who I did not even know was on my friends list. :/ ) for a UK-GS group (which is now defunct).

Anyway, see you on Steam on occasion. I don't play games a whole lot and never play on-line because of my suck internet. Hope to change that sometime in the future.
    Solaris17 says thanks.

Removed steam name now you have it, dont want it public.

I'll have an invite please, though I am in the "old" group.

Are there any particular etiquette rules (other than the obvious, like here on TPU) for comments, chat, etc.?
