I thought you guys might get a kick out of this. I've mentioned the jukebox project I'm doing and trying to decide on what type of amplifier to use. A 4-channel car amp with a seperate power supply would be quick and easy. 2 bridged for the sub and 2 for the stereo channels. Some old console stereos had nice all-in-one amplifier modules that could work and while searching for one I stumbled across an old tube PA amplifier and couldn't resist fiddling with it.

I don't know if any of you are audiophiles or electronic hobbyists but I built it into a fairly simple 2 channel amplifier with pretty impressive results. It uses common fairly inexpensive tubes. Here's some pics of the old beast. Also a pic of my rewiring schematic.
