USB Port Simple Does't Work

hi ppl im having problems with my friends laptop its kind a old but whatever its a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro Serie V2020 and the USB ports simple doesn't work i don't know what to do i have all the drivers n updates installed i already re-installed the OS but the problem remains... any idea or advice plz...

can you check in the bios and check to see if they're enabled,also look on device manager on windows and check to see if the usb's are there and not flagged with a yellow apostrophie.

I already checked this out n i just can´t see the yellow mark, i will post the screenshot later and u will see all i can see when i check the properties is " the device is working properly"

but i will chek again in the bios config.

that happened on one of my old computers - the USB ports needed to enabled in the bios.
