Fancy upgrading my dell work machine so that it has a graphics card in it that I can crunch some seti units on.
On initial checking, I thought that this would be a no go as I only had one spare molex connector, so would not be able to power any card that I put in there.

Digging around in my case I found this connector - its very short (2cm cable from the PSU)

Is this a connector for GPU's, or is it a mobo power connector? Can I buy something that will extend it so I can run this cable to a graphics card? Im hoping that this is enough for me to get a 2nd hand 8800GT or something..
Please tell me I can use this for a GPU

Have found this on the dell website, but Im no clearer as to what this connector does..

DC Power Connector P4

Pin Number Signal name 18-AWG Wire

2 COM Black

3 COM Black

4 + 3.3 VDC Orange

Still don't know what it is for, especially as the first pin is blanked off
