Water cooling order review

Just about to submit my order at Sidewinders for my water cooling stuff, and I'd like some feedback on what I have in the cart.

What I have already:

MCP355 pump with XSPC top (on its way here now)
XSPC RX360 radiator
Petra's gel stuff pad for pump
15 feet Feser 1/2 UV tubing
Two MCW60-R2 blocks for my 4850X2

This is all going on an Asus M4A79T Deluxe and Phenom II 955.

Is this all I'll need? Changes? Suggestions? Thanks.

I had that Dtek block. My new EK Supreme LT cools better, and is a bit cheaper than the V2. Everything else looks great!

I thought Heatkiller blocks were only Intel? That's all I found on sidewinders anyway.

You might want to e-mail Sidewinders or check with Performance-PCs because I know the Watercool.de has the blocks for AMD. You might want to check if the EK-Supreme LT won't work on an AMD. That would be the best IMO. You'd save a lot of money that way, and it is a good block.

I've not seen anything for the EK-Supreme blocks to work on AM2/AM3 chips. They're all for Intel sockets.

I've got the EK 250 Res, It's great, BIG. Lots of options too. Be careful with the clips, they looks and feel weak.

I just did some research. I don't think there is any AMD mounting available for the Heatkiller or the EK Surpreme. Too bad, as they are 2 of the best blocks on the market right now.

I've got the EK Supreme Plexi box next to me and it says it fits :

Intel 478, 775&1366, Xeon 603, 604, 771, AMD AM2, A64, Sempron, 754, 939, 940.

I would hold off on those blocks for the HD 4850 x2. XSPC will be releasing a full cover block for the HD 4850 x2 soon:

LOL. I just looked at mine too, and saw the same thing, though at Sidewinders it lists 775 and 1333 only, nor is there any special mounting in the box for AMD. Wish I could find the directions that came with it....

tbh i do not like those nylon hose clips!! your better off with zip tie's or zinc jubilee clips

and as for the 4850x2 blocks, they only work for the 4850x2!

the mcw60r2 will work even with next gen cards so universal is your best option if u go threw gpu's like i do!

i still think they perform better than full cover blocks but thats just me!
