Apples to oranges, no pun intended. Fusion drive is like ZFS cache, and the minimum Apple provides is 24GB — 3x the capacity of most SSHDs.

I've wondered about that, but since the Windows runs in about 4GB of RAM, I would suppose that 8GB of cache is not an unreasonable amount.
