Hey guys,

I apologise for the crappy picture however im at work and its the only one I have.

Im looking at pimpin my set up some more and I'd like to try find a ram cooling solution but as you can see my Xiggy covers two of my ram slots. What I'd like to know is is there any ram coolers along these lines :

http://www.arctic-cooling.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=39_&mID=125&language=en

Which would be useable over just the two last ram slots? Or will there be some modding involved? If so...what would you do in this situation?...I dont think my ram runs really that hot I just want it to look good.

Any Suggestions?

Not that i know of, though im sure you could mod a fan in there somewhere. But to be honest you wont need extra cooling with those sticks as they wont get very hot. My Dominators a lukewarm at best.

I am not sure about RAM coolers but I think they are a gimmick. I have handled a variety of RAM types, densities, with/without heat speaders, and I have never had one be too hot to hold. For most with a decent heat speader, lukewarm would be the hottest they will every get.

If you are determined to get those coolers for your RAM in there, then the fan on the CPU has to come off and you willl have to switch to liquid cooling.

Well if you are just looking to improve the look, you may want to polish or paint the top of your CPU cooler, it just looks beat up. If you want to change the CPU cooler, the Red Orb II at Tigerdirect by ThermalTake works very well and is much more striking in appearance.

And Liquid cooling, plus some neon or black lights can also look very cool.

And for Extreme cases, case mods. Steampunk is used a lot because it is eye catching and cheap.

Well what improved the look of my computer was a Antec spot cool fan over my 4 sticks of OCZ ram. Or you can go ahead and grab a Corsiar memory cooler. AND then if you want to improve the look of your computer remove that dam IDE pink crap cable (lol) and even tuck the cables around the video cards just a little tighter. And your CPU Cooler looks a little beat, i would grab something up thats nickel plated like a xigamtek dark knight or, you can get a corsair H50 water cooler which works better then my xigamtek darknight laped. Clean all the dust away as much as you can and put some dark mistik leds in there and show the case runin. :D :toast:

The Corsair Dominator fans will work. the clamp-like "legs" will definately hold that cooler in place. I had something similar in a 939 DFI due to a Zalman 9500 doing the same thing to my ram slots.
