Im in a pickle. I cant decide whether to get a HD5770 1gb or Win 7 HP or Pro 64 bit. Based on my system specs (HIS) what would be the better option for now. The next time ill have $$$ will be in the fall/winter to make the 2nd purchase. Im leaning towards 7, but if u fuys got any ideas lemme kno...

you wont get any of the 5K cards cool benefits in XP.

well without win7 you won't be taking advantage of the 5k at all. you are not even using the DX10 you have (unless cracked) on XP.
so go with 7. you can then use DX10 on your 4850 until you get the 5k

Thnx for the quick input..... Ima get home premium as i cant afford Pro and I dont want to wait another month to get it... And ya i never bothered to try that dx10 on xp, wasnt worth my time. My 4850 does chew right thru any dx9 game tho; also I knew vista was horrible b4 it came out so i just went with XP when I built my rig.
