I read a very interesting article on this. At the lower resolutions the 2 GTS's keep up with the GTX, but at much higher resolutions the GTS's perform better than the GTX, which (over here atleast) is cheaper than a single GTX. Personally I would go with another GTS.

i thought two 8800 gts 320 mb would be slower than a gtx because it has less memory (at high res). two 640 mb would be better than a gtx at high res, but he needs to know about sli'ed 320 mb gts.

I would say go with another gts atm you get super AA right? I didnt think 1680x1020 resolution was really that high, I figured 1900x1280 and over would really benefit from sli.

Or you could sell your gts get a gtx than when new cards come out easily sell your single gtx. I think 2 gts's will be harder to sell than one gtx down the road and atm were not sure if theses current cards will really perform all that great in sm4.0 dx10 games.

Kind of a mixed bag advice here lol but Im tired and thats what I think! Also welcome to tpu I havent seen you around much but you have 80+ posts :)

i don't think that native res really needs aa imo. i run css at 1440x900 (granted, not a very demanding game) at 2 or 4x ap (i forget which) and no aa. it still looks great. also, a gtx will be able to handle enough aa for it to look good.
