I scrounged these out of a junk mATX case from the dump. I'd like to find some where that sells this type of thing new (or used) for case mod projects. I've googled my ass of under any topic I could think of for case parts but came up empty. Has any one got a clue on where to find 'em???

They don't have to be exactly like this, just an example. But I would like to have 3 bays for dvd drives and fan controles, and a floppy, and an ATX back pannel with 7 expantion slots

Out of curiosity... how do you plan on making this work? If your case has "X" amount of expansion slots and "Y" amount of drive bays..... how are you going to add more?

you can get a cheap case for $20 and get em, this is about the only way.

i don't know why you cant buy em because you can understand how they would be a good seller for modders but i guess they cant make $ at the price they would have sell em for.

i would suggest you find a sheet of metal at the local hardware place and use those as a pattern for making what you want, otherwise if you want shiny new ones you have to buy a cheap case to get em.

also you can try making a plee in the buying/selling forum for someone with junk cases.

I agree with Keakar, you'd be better off buying a cheapo case, like that, you can take out the parts, and, if your new case build starts to turn sour, use the frame from the case as a base, and build around it.
