OTOH, I have been playing CK2 without any DLC almost exclusively for several months now, and haven't been missing any of them. If you need all of the DLC, you do play it exclusively or you have way too much time on your hands.

Maybe the Cyberpunk 2077 expansion, apparently they revamped the way the base game works significantly, so I might try to do a new playthrough and actually finish it this time.
Hoping Starfield will be good, but if it isn't it won't break my heart; I'm more interested in the "gaming press" finally STFU-ing about it once it launches.
STALKER 2, if it actually launches this year.
Homeworld 3? I'm a massive fan of the original and Cataclysm (now called Emergence because Blizzard are f**ktards), but the sequel was very meh. The devs are supposed to be the same people who made the original, which is good; but I don't honestly know what direction they intend to take it in, which is less good.

I agree with Homeworld.

It's an amazing series, but the second one is way too hard for my taste. Cataclysm (sorry, Emergence) is nice, but the missions are a tiny bit repetitive. Definitely worth a playthrough, though.

Did you do all of the endings? Also, male and female relations are different so you should try a second run with the opposite sex, and I found out what ending uses V's sky penthouse that everyone tries to get into with the flying cars. Nah, I only did one ending with one character. My immersion isn't the same with the opposite sex, so I never do that. My RPG experience is all about putting myself into a different world, so using characters that don't make me feel like I'm in the game don't do it for me.

All the time. Always on a Steam sale, though. Out of the nearly 500 games I own, I've played maybe 50-80 at most. This is why I'm not in a desperate need to buy new games.

Yeah, Starfield is a big "maybe" for me too, I'm far more interested in what Obsidian is cooking next than Bethesda... I think of the latter as a one-trick-pony basically (which isn't a deal breaker for me in the slightest - I'm a FROM fan after all - but Bethesda has been heavily slacking ever since F4...)

Obsidian kinda lost my respect after The Outer Worlds, which really wasn't anything particularly special - essentially Fallout lite. Nothing wrong with that per se, but after New Vegas I was expecting more, and got less. Hopefully they'll do better with the sequel - at very least it has to have a proper open world, not five absurdly tiny open world segments.

I am getting better at not doing it, Gamepass helps a bit. This Steam Sale I just bought some cosmetic and tire packs for ETS and ATS while they're on sale despite them not being expensive in the first place but then I can be silly and buy like "cabin junk" so now I have a red Maple Leaf air freshener hanging in my American truck as they have done any flag paint packs for it. where as my Euro Truck comes to represent! I think I just bought the other tire pack for it(Michelin, already had Goodyear) That said I "may" have spent $10-12 this Steam Sale...

My problem with ETS is that I want to buy it with all the map packs to travel around the whole of Europe, but it's sooo expensive!

Obsidian is a bit like a B movie cast trying too hard. Its hit or miss, and the hits are okay but never mind blowing. New Vegas was a very okay Fallout just like that.
