which one would you get?

need help deciding good sale on at the website i buy from couple video cards I'm looking at i play at 1080p resolution mainly strategy games with a lot of role-playing, rpg's. I'm not a fanboy of any company i have 2 3870's crossfire and I'm tired of the crappy drivers for them so i want something new.

Folding leans toward the Nvidia, as ATI is still behind in production. The 285 will handle the res no problem, but I think on the cheap the 275 may cover your needs as well. Really depends on how much of a gamer you are.

For what your OP states, Id nab the 285 stricktly for folding without any other conciderations.

do you know hoe many points per day id get with either or these cards? cause when im at school i let them run 24/7 on the schools hydro and game just after school for a while.

I havent folded my 275, but my GTS250 is worth 4-5K a day and my GTX280 was woth 6-7K if I remember right.
