Windows 7/CCC won't install

The drivers released that where an update of CCC 8.12 and the display adapter won't run for my Windows 7 machine, I realize its in beta not really meant to be supported fully yet, but I was wondering if anyone is having a similar problems or knows a way to fix this issue. CCC hangs at detecting hardware...gonna let it run for an hour and see if it times out or gives me some kind of error...

Whats odd is my Display adapter doesn't even show up under the hardware manager, which I think is the root of the problem, but my display adapter works, obviously, I even got into the display adapter settings and more specifically found where I could force update the driver but everything is grayed out..

this has me realllly confused!!

Tryed 8.11, 8.12, and the "New" 8.12 drivers for Windows 7 including CCC+ driver packages as well as just the normal driver itself, it seems as though it can't identify any display adapters. It's not showing up in the Device manager.

i'm having the same problem over here with catalyst beta for win7 ultimate x64 beta. also tried to run the package in compatibility mode, and as administrator, but installation always hang in a certain point. but my vga do appears on devive manager.

how can i change mipmap details to push some score on 3dmark? ccc fails. also fails: ati tool, ati tray tool, rivatuner.
achived overclock only by reflashing a modded bios.:shadedshu
i'm wondering to download a vista x64 driver pack and try to intall it in compatibility mode.

EDIT: issue solved using cat-unistaller from atis website.

I had the hang when i tried to install driver in windows 7. The cat-uninstaller program fixed it for me.
