How much ram can Xp 32bit handle i heard about four different answers what is it????
(3 or 3.5) I see 3.5 on my pc
32bit allows a total of 4 gigs amongst ALL memory including vid card memory, etc. This means you'll get somewhere between 3.25-3.5 gigs of ram
As mentioned above if you use 4Gigs of ram you should see about 3.25Gigs-3.50Gigs but that number may differ based on your PC.
I have a question... IF i had 4Gb of ram and used 512mb of that for my onboard VGA, would that be allowed? as in would it still give me 3.25 - 3.5Gb to use on my system? or would it be deducted from the 3.25 - 3.5Gb you stated it would be left with.
Yes it should but again nothing is guaranteed because PC specs do differ from one user to the next.
Thanks for the answer everybody!
