Wireless Router Configuration Questions?

Well, I have my current PC, and my Xbox, wired to a wireless router here in my room. But, my parents have a Media Center Computer in the Living Room, and there are several walls in between my room (router) and the Living Room (Media PC).

I currently have this for my Wireless Router (D-Link):

And this PCI Card (Media PC) (D-Link):

As you can see, they both only have on Antenna, and don't have good range, or they do, but not through walls.

I saw on an Ad today that Fry's had a sale, so if I get this:

Will my range be better? and signal?

Also, I saw that it is MIMO, will it work w/ the D-Link Wireless Router I showed earlier, or do I also need to get a Wireless MIMO Router as well? Both are 802.11G though.

DI-524 is not MIMO compatible . You'd have to go through all the trouble of buying a brand new MIMO compatible router ($100 bucks or so). Since I know most people aren't willing to spend that kind of money on a wifi router, you could do some creative moving of things until devices are in range of each other, or you could buy better antennas . OFF TOPIC- I think my DI-524 needs a whole new antenna socket, it kinda fell out after falling behind my desk a bazillion times .

It says that it's compatible w/ all 802.11G/B wireless routers, so even if it's not MIMO, it'll still get a better range/signal. Am I right?

It'll be compatible, but only because it's broadcasting in 802.11B/G as well as 802.11 MIMO. The MIMO part will only activate if it can find an MIMO router. Sorry. My friend has had REALLY good luck with this antenna.

But won't the signal strength increase though, even if it's not in MIMO? And maybe later on, get an actual MIMO router, so should I just get a new antenna?

Hmmm fine, I just got mislead by your profile . Anyways, that MIMO thing won't help you nearly as much as a brand new antenna. MIMO is only good if you have both an MIMO router and an MIMO adapter, not one or the other.
