I bought a EVGA 8500GT to use in my old pc like 3 months ago and got it with a mail in rebate now the problem was that I sent in the reabate and they said they never got the stub from the box and I KNOW I PUT IT IN THERE, they ripped me off for 20 bucks man :mad:

, its not even about the money really, I just HATE being ripped off

I should have stuck with XFX

Yeah. about 3 or 4 of my friends have complained about the same thing, MSI and ADATA came through with their rebates. Glad there are some out there that honor their own promotions.:shadedshu

Meh, I haven't had any issues recieving rebates from them and so far I have sent in 2 rebates to them this year the last one being in May.

iv never had a rebate prob but i remember when i bought my 8600GT i tried registering it on evga's site so i could get the warrente and they kept telling me that the code on the back of my card wasnt correct EVEN in e-mails when i sent in a picture!! BFG or XFX all the way now

Yeah, I had a similar problem. I sent in a card for RMA and when they sent me the replacement card, when I tried to auto-register the new card, it said the card was already registered, the same happened when I tried to manual register the card. They did manage to clear the issue up after a few emails though. I'm surprised you had problems with them, but I guess customer service quality varies.

I had the same problem with 9600GT rebate from PNY
got an email saying that the UPC was missing and I knew for a FACT that I sent it in. I actually tape the UPC to the forms when I send in my rebates. So I called them, talk to a guy and he told me that yes there was a UPC taped to the form but it was a copy. Can you believe that? A cut out from a card board box with glossy finish and the person that checked it said it was a copy. I got angry and started to bitch the guy out and he said he'll send it to management to have it checked again... called back a few days later stood my ground and an bitched a storm again and they approved it right then and there and said Ill get the rebate with in a few days. Just got to lay to them and not let them push you around :nutkick:
