Well its Christmas time and my wife was nice enough to pick me up a new Z68 board! Now I need a 2600K to pair with it!

I have a early batch I7 920 that OCs to 4Ghz on 1.275V! Also a Asus Rampage II Gene motherboard that supports SLI and Crossfire 16x16 PCI. I am looking to trade this combo for a bare 2600K chip. I also have an extra stick of 2GB DDR3 from my triple channel set.

I am open to any offers if anyone is interested. If I don't get any, I will have to sale the present from my wife and that would make her a sad panda.

Why dont u keep that setup and try and get a 2500k? Just as good and cheaper. Your old system is still good 4 a while or do u want to get rid of it? Whats the misses using?

great deal you have here,if i had a 2600K id trade you out. basically you are trading an entire 8 thread setup for a chip that has the same 8 threads and a slight performance bump.

Pretty much! Makes the wife happy to see me happy and her gift of a Z68 board with newer features and Ivy bridge support will come to good use!

I also may put up my whole triple channel set up along with this combo but would need 2x2GB DDR3 to go along with the 2600K. This is only if anyone wants a full matching 3x2GB Triple Channel set.

If you can't find a deal and have a Microcenter by you, the have the 2500K for $180, and they often have the 2600K's for about $280. Put a price on that stuff you got and see how much you can get for it :toast:

I may have to but im trying to close the gap on how long I will be without a PC. If I start parting then I may sell the parts weeks apart and will be without a PC during that time.
