I am just not sure about what the 2b pencil exactly is. Is it a regular pencil or something special?

dont save your money on pencil. Just buy the $$best one with 2B on it. I got STAEDTLER made in germany. U need those carbon on the resistor edge last a long time and dont deform by increased temp. 2B is bascally are grade of darkness. If u need more carbon but less stable use 3B or 4B. I should be just around 1 dollar US

Regular Pencil yes, and dontt use some Hellokitty or mickey mouse pencil

I used a micro pencil for AMD Duron Mod (connect two bridges->opened multiplier), it was four years ago and it still works. But this wont work here, because micro pencil does not provide suficient amount af carbon. So the only thing I need is to ask some of my friends for multimeter.

I finally fine out the pencil mod really work after u stabilized the carbon. after all the vmod, vdd and vddq, my final clock is:
core 445.5
Ram 1121

I have a Sapphire X800 GTO AGP and i pushed it ftom the default 400/490 to 461/520, but i must say that is a very impressive mem overclock . Mine craps out around 470/525, hotest it ever gets is 55c full load, (with fan set to max on vid card and the side of the PC case closed) after playing Hl2, and DoD source with AA6x and AF16x. But i think i have the r480 core, not sure but ati tool says it is so, ill post a pic of fuse data after i come back from work.

I also got a Sapphire Radeon X800 GTO 256mb AGP card, OvC at 426.00/540.00.
The temp doesn't exced 55`C so im open for more OvC, i'dd realy like to get ~1 ghz mem whit carbon mod, but i don't undestand what you did to get them

define vmod ( i guess is crabon mod ) , vdd and vddq, and what do you mean by "stabilized the carbon" ???

Anyway im happy whit ym card i can run NFSMW max rez smooth. ( EDiT : Crash after 10mins :| 100% Fan speed )

Hmm and how do you get to the bridge ? Under the fan/cooling thingny ?

basicly x800 gto can be sure overclock like a x800xl. Read the guide in this forum for it :>
search for it easily!
