Don't do auto, for some reason that always fails. Just find your sweet spot on overclocking by running a couple of benchmark tools (MSI Afterburner) usually work's the best. Just check your temps aren't going above 75c. I usually leave my fan on around 55% --its not too noisy for me (running 5850 crossfire)

If you dont know how to overclock you should read up on the subject first and learn what things are. Your inexperience is going to kill the computer.

yeah it freeze because i command it to!

what would append if you try and run too fast for your leg?

what append if you rev your car engine over the red line?

what append if you cook a cake for too long?

,read forums, google and search if you want to overclock.

its not magic that anybody just push a turbo button and BAM super speed.

RESEARCH and you will find your answer really fast

Don't use Auto-overclocking, it does not work. There are many guides out there to help you with overclocking basics. Start with this: Raise GPU core by 50mhz and test in a game or stability program (like Furmark). If it works fine, try a bit more. Thing is, you probablly don't need to overclock very much if at all in the first place.

When you overclocked the video card did you bother turning up the fan speed at all?

Increase the speed of the fan some and see if you still get the same temps.
