The sad thing is, the original 9900 gets beat by 30$ coolers from Xigmatek and gets obliterated by Noctua and ThermalRight. Why make a more expensive version that will perform the same??

I agree, it seems like Zalman price their products more on how attractive it is rather the performance. I'm not saying their coolers are bad, they are just way over prices.

You know that if you plate nickel over copper fins, it wont help the performance. I like the look, but it's not as intense for me like the V10.
