The 'Sub Pens' map looks like a re-mapped version of a similar map in CoD1/UO & possibly MoH:AA single player map (for those who have played the game)

just doing some reading into this whole map pack 2 thing -its hard to say if anything will be released for the Pc, most reports/info so far is that its PS3 & Xbox only. not even a hint that there might be something coming soon for pc.

Their podcast did indicate a PC version however, ETA was not mentioned.

They aren't saying anything now. They have announced 1.5 Patch which is rumored to have MP2 with it. But no real details as of yet.

PC Patch 1.5:
* CO-OP hosts can now kick players from their lobby
* Improved dog spawning in MP
* Addressed an issue with Zombie pathing
* Fixed an instance of the player model displaying incorrectly
* Some unhandled exception errors have been addressed
* Improved server browser’s refresh functionality when the Source is set to ‘Favorites’
* Added support for CODTV
* “cg_DrawFPS 1” now only displays FPS and cg ms/frame
* Added RCon command "teamstatus" to display players’ team information

Additionally, the following Modding items have been addressed – modders take note:

* Mods: Added joinsquad script function
* Mods: Players can now join CO-OP lobbies that are hosting map names with more than eighteen characters
* Mods: Users can now load custom maps when the usermaps folder contains fifty or more custom maps
* Mods: Removed the loading of duplicate assets that contributed to the ‘2048 materials’ error
* Mods: Increased the amount of mods displayable in the Mods menu
* Mods: Fixed a crash related to the mod.arena file

The only way you save while owning a PC is by buying cheap old games, or by torrenting. A brand new game is $50, only $10 more for a console game and quiet a bit less over all for a console. I'll use my comp as an example, I come up with $1950 for all my parts if I add up the price I bought them brand new for, I got my PS3 for $500 with a game. So to make up that $1500 difference I would need to buy 150 PC games over PS3 games, and at that point it only breaks equal....

Oh and I didn't really like the new Map pack, don't like the dogs, don't like the spread out field, but like how the zombies actually grab the boards to tear them off.

Ok it's been confirmed that MP2 will be included in Patch 1.50 release. Release date is unknown but more information is suppose to be released next week.

JD says its in testing. That takes up to a minimum 2 weeks. And he said that they were testing it when the patch details being released. And then they have to submit it for approval and then the installer build. So we can expect maybe 2-3 more weeks till it would be out maybe.

It's confirmed over at CODWAW forum that MP2 will be released tomorrow along with patch 1.5.

OK out of the 3 maps I like Banzai the most. It has enough tunnels, open areas and one large bridge that adds enough variety of were to go. Sub Pens appears to be best suited for 14-18 player count. I was in a 40 player server so it was a bit crowded in some spots. Some complained of being lost or confused as it does remind you fo a maze of sorts. Corrison is a mixed bag. IMO the mini map doesn't really represent the map layout making it difficult to know were you are and to know if your opponents are on the 1st or 2nd floor of this complex. In particular how they allow hollowed out B52s as access tunnels from one portion of the map to another. That portion of the mini map should also resemble the outer haul of the airplane IMO.

In all, I like the new MP maps and so do many others who've played it.

to me Banzai was more of a campfest - theres so much foilage, overhanging trees & shit all over the fucking place, high & low ground areas where they could see you but you couldnt see them etc.
