I'll gladly start this! A solid 7/10 for silkstone. Interesting mix of parts o,O but wtvr works

Say hello to SHADE. I built this 4k Gaming Monster a few months ago. I made quite a few aftermarket adjustments. H100i Liquid cooling radiator 3 92mm exhausts 3 120mm and 2 92mm intakes. 80mm fan over the RAM another 92mm fan over the FSB(protip) all fluid bearings makes it literally the coolest case I have ever owned. Idle temp of the CPU running at 5Ghz Overclock 40C Load High 50s Custom fan profiles and EVGA ACX2 on the GPUs keep them idle around 30C under load high 50s low 60s and a fully modular 850watt EVGA Gold rated PSU to push those overclocks with power to spare.

Though I'm a little confused as to whether your 40" does 4K or is set at 1080?
If it's 4K then I'd give it a full 10/10. If not, then wow! That system is overkill for 1080p

Im running at 1080p60 HD with Dynamic Super Resolution factors as high as 4 in some games. Thanks for the 10/10 :love:

I'd call it 9/10 just because its not entirely solid state yet xD

Does that actually have any benefit to the appearance of games?

I think if I had a rig like yours, my nex big purchase would be a 4K TV/Monitor (or an Oculus Rift).

Now you understand why the overkill and Im saving for Oculus Rift but they are almost $779 on new egg and I haven't seen many new or non-refurbished under that. Either that or a Predator Z35 curved monitor. You know how it goes with gaming pcs.. its always drop another $1000 lol

srsly tho, i like the CPU and ram but let me ask you about that keyboard, how are the switches on the Knucker? i know they aren't full mech but they are supposed to be better then rubber dome keys.

its like using a mech one, but little bit quieter, also the most interesting thing its that they have a smooth feel when you have like 3Hrs playing somthing!
Totally recomended, i'll replace it soon with a coomander combo since i may need another mouse for the office, so far, the unique thing i dont like is this:

How do you like the 480?

I'm sure it still rocks @1080p even being an older CPU. I've had my older SB for ~5 years and still feel no need to upgrade.

Your kids rig is also pretty sweet so 6.5/10 for that. They're going to want a new GPU as they discover more games

I'm lucky that mine are only into Minecraft so they are happy on old laptops

Love the RX 480, going to look into aftermarket cooling for it tho...Possibly something Arctic as the website lists several compatible HSF and AIO https://www.arctic.ac/worldwide_en/products/cooling/vga.html im looking at the Hybrid III 140 or 120 for my RX 480

CPU still handles games fine for my liking. Ya im building a new rig when Zen comes out (its going to be my 1st AMD cou build

and my rig will become the kids for the most part and the kids will go to their mothers house so that they have a pc to use there
