AMD to Announce New Radeon RX 7000 SKUs Next Week at Gamescom

Around $469-479 msrp would make a 7800XT a solid deal if it beats the 6800XT and roughly matches 6900XT.

Too bad its probably gonna be 529-539 and move the value needle no where.

Man, I'm not even hopeful for $529 - $539. The 4070 is currently starting at $590 and goes all the way up to $700. If the 7800 XT's performance lands somewhere ahead of the 4070, they'll price it the same and point to the 16GB memory as offering better value for the same price.

When is Battlemage coming out again?

It can't function like that^^^ :roll:A product must comply to certain specifications, and whenever it doesn't, it's simply DOA and no-buy. :kookoo:
Most parts I have bought someone on here called DOA.

Bulldozer, Vega rdna3 , yet they all worked adequately for 5+ years.

Hyperbolic statements are DOA.

The thing that you are one of the few who made the mistake to buy the FX underperforming and Vega underperforming products doesn't mean that the more normal people did the same. :D

Will we see any AM5 chipset / new motherboards in Q4 2023?

im guessing 6950 xt performance (which already almost matches 7950 xt in several games) but just with better watt usage.

7800 xt can't beat a 7950 xt, if it does, than fuck amd and the gap between a 6950 xt and 7900 xt is already so small for a lot of games not much room there.
Good of you to know 7950XT performance, despite it not existing lmao

With an MSRP of ~530 while performing around a 6800-6900XT will get the card butchered by reviewers considering you can still buy brand new AIB cards for 6800XT around that price.

And it's normal to be in a forum bitching about a pr release about something, you berate , pre hate, and such ?!

We differ on that so if That's normal, I Am indeed wierd.

The hand-wringing and whinging is fun here. Price to performance is all that matters to me which is why I'm on this site in the first place.

Can't wait 'til next week, bring it on.

Hate?! I am only protecting my holy interests. I told you - if it fails as a product, it will be DOA and people will shout as much as they want.
And they already do. Read the comments section at videocardz - it's scary how unhappy everyone is.

I just cant get excited about these. AMD covered them up so much, I cna only assume they will disspoint.

My prediction: the 700xt is a 650xt, and will be $400+, just like the 6750

The 7800 will be a RX 6800, and will be $550+.

Both will do nothing to move the needle and rDNA2 will go down in history as AMD's pascal. The last decently priced generation (even if only at the high end).

No it's not.

Nvidia has very vocal and numerically numerous fan's.

It's typical, unless AMD sells 7800XT performance for 100/200 less than the cheapest 4### card they're going to be vocal.

You can't please a hater's.

And holy ?! Really?

See above 550?! 7800 hmmmn right, they won't want more than the 6800XT on release, I think they will.

I upgraded to AM5 in March.
The only game I will be buying is Starfield which is apparently AMD optimised so hopefully the 7800xt will fit the bill.
Either way the next GPU I buy will be a red one.

Here is a great card at a great price for all the unhappy people. ;)

Watch The IT crowd S04E06.
So people now say phrases wrong on purpose in reference to an episode of a TV show 0.1% of people have seen? I dunno man, to everyone else it makes you look as daft as Roy.

Holy mama. I did read some of the comments. Damn people are furious about AMD releasing products. Some people just never gonna be happy no matter what happens.

TO be fair, i dont know what the prices should be, everything is all over the place. but if the 7800XT (faster than 6800XT) cost $550 that is not a bad price for a new product launch but 6800xt costs similar or cheaper so.... why bother?

in no way faster than 6800 XT. 7600 ~~ 6650 2048 shaders 32MB ~~~same perf.
7800 XT significanlty less shaders 3840 vs 4608 and 50% L3. this should be 479 and compete with 4070. but 16GB is a nice touch.

So people now say phrases wrong on purpose

videocardz? That website/comment section gotta be one of the worst on the planet, don't bother, much less take people serious who use it as an argument.

If comparing an old GPU that has lowered prices to an new one, at least include the upsides of the new one as well, such as, better features, lower power consumption. It's certainly not an 1:1 comparison unless you wanna ignore all the upsides the newer card/arch brings to the table.
