Again thanks to @TheLostSwede and @Bill_Bright for the help in my thread :lovetpu:

I will see if I can get it put in to my current case this weekend, currently using my Lenowo TwinkPad T480 as my main machine

These are great. Good performance, quite and last a long time. I've bought half a dozen over the years and they are all going strong. I've bought and tested other brands, but keep going back to Liquid Freezer.

Planning to get this:

Have that exact board, and it has been flawless for about 2 years.
Not surprising, if it's like what I had from Asus in the past. This looks solid like what we've seen with a lot of mid-2010s' motherboards. Notice how there are more audio caps? TMK.

I shot the wad and bought my retirement computer. See system specs below. Holy crap, it’s like a new world from my 15 year old Dell!

Not ATX 3.0, but good unit anyway. Was pretty cheap.

The only issue with that board is the PCIe allocation. The first x16 slot is wired to the CPU. All of the other slots on the board are connected to the chipset. As this board does not have WIFI adding a PCIe WIFI card will mean that you will not be able to use a capture card. Even the X570 TUF from Asus is priced similarly and a much more flexible board. There is also the fact that the 2nD M2 slot is also connected to the 4 lanes that the Chipset has. That means that if you install a 2nd M2 all of those lanes are not available.

Well was thinking about this for wife’s BD since hers died. CAD$. Still on the fence.

I got a new headset to replace my Logitech Pro X Lightspeed , the Logitech Astro A50 Wireless. First impression is that the sound is a low better on the A50 but not as comfy as the Pro X.

The A50's have a long list of complaints, most due to their wireless connection though. And that's why I love my A40's.
Wish you all the luck with them.

The last time I tried them was in 2019/20 and they where the worst of 8 headsets I tried battery life was less than half of other options. I hate their sound profile as well and their 3D sounds like you are in a bathroom.... The Mixamp is decent minus the 3D audio though when used with other headsets.

Well after 60 pages of catching up, wow everyone  Amazing buys everyone, I've loved the pics of the hardware and bikes and the automatic cat water feeder as well :) Love it :D I hope to get a bit of time and get a few purchases up that I've made last few months, I've capped the spending a lot so I've just been having to enjoy the pictures most of the time rather than the buying :)

Thanks everyone for not letting me down! :D

I use one of those in my fileserver (though I may replace it with my Titanium evga soon). Regardless, they are solid, powerful, and reliable. ATX 3.0 is nice and all but I really doubt you'll encounter a scenario where that won't do what you need and then some.

Corsair makes a pretty nice 12vhpwr to dual 8 pin cable so you are good either way.
This, too. Their cable is pretty solid.

So I am building a Dark Knight themed rig for myself atm. Im farming out some of the work (custom 3d printed fan grilles, DK decals and this...) came in the mail today! Turned out sweet. Just need to prime and paint black to match the case. It will sit floating from the case side with leds underneath (3 in white). Ill post the build at some point.

This was my first AM4 board.. Love it. It has been cock solid for me since November 2020. It is in my sons rig driving a 5600X at max PBO (4850) and running B-Die at 2K 1:1 daily just fine.

Maybe I should have put an R there

Edit:

Yeah.. compared to the DH.. it is kinda frisbee like..

Edit again

That TUF B550 was a total piece of junk. Like wow.. Asus wtf mang?
