Hello, the problem I have with my graphics card is that I noticed that the bios of my graphics card was changed, so I was looking and people said that I would have to change the bios. I prepared to change it but what happened was that when I changed the bios I put one that would not be correct and that is why the graphics no longer gave me video. The fact is that I saw that by buying the ch341a I could change the bios in the program. I made a backup copy of the mining bios that I had in case something happened. It's bad to have the backup copy. The fact is that with the ch341a I made the bios change and it does give me video on the screen but only for a few seconds while it starts up. So my question is if any of you have had something similar happen to you and how did you do it? I was able to solve it, greetings and thank you very much.

Please share brand and the exact part number of the card.

Also remove the cooler and make a photo of the pcb and memory so we can assist with providing the correct bioses.

Hello, thank you for responding to the comment, the brand of the graphics is Amd Radeon Rx 5700 Xt and the assembler is elsa

Please remove the thermal pads of the memory since we still have no clue if the card contains Samsung, Hynix or Micron memory and make a new picture of the memory

The image does not look very good, see they are Samsung memories

Elsa doesn't have any Radeon graphics card at all. See https://www.elsa-jp.co.jp/ & https://videocardz.net/browse/elsa.
I guess this card is an ex-mine card which was bought from China.

Can you make a clear picture of the whole PCB? Both front as backside? I dont mind to see some table in the picture.

Yes, it's a Chinese mining graph, I'm attaching a photo of the PCB from the front and from the back, I couldn't because there is a screw that I can't remove. I'll keep trying to see if I can remove it to show you the photo of the back.

Thank you very much for looking for the bios and one question I have is if when I put in the new bios it turns on and gives video but for about 6 or 7 seconds and then the image goes away again, would you know what the problem could be?

When does it disappears? When booting into Windows? Can be caused by an incorrect bios or corrupt Windows installation.

Can you tell us your system specifications? Does it have onboard graphics? Otherwise you need to find a system where you can install the card in the second 16x pci-e slot or you must buy a CH314a programmer.

It stops displaying the image just when Windows is loading and when the specifications of your computer appear in the bios, my system has an AMD Ryzen 5 3400G
16gb ram
1 SSD
1HDD
and the windows that I am using is 11 and I have already purchased the programmer that you mention

Which brand & model motherboard do you have?

If the motherboard I have is the MSI b450m pro m2 max
  1. Remove RX5700 XT from the system
  2. Connect the display to the onboard graphics
  3. Power on the system and press on DEL during to POST to enter bios
  4. Navigate to Settings -> Advanced -> Integrated Graphics Configuration
  5. Change "Initiate Graphic Adapter" from PEG to IGD
  6. Save setting and boot into Windows
When you have screen with onboard graphics in Windows, shutdown system.
Add the RX 5700 to the system. Dont connect the screen to the RX 5700 XT!

Boot into Windows and then follow the flash instructions of eidairaman1:
For RX 5000-7000 Navi Series and I believe Vega Cards, maybe Fury...
AMDVBFLASH
Versions 3.31-5.0.567

Follow these steps carefully:

1. Open your "C:" drive in Windows, create a new folder, call it atiflash.

2. Extract the contents of amdvbflash_win_5.0.567.zip to the "C:\atiflash" folder (make sure everything is in C:\atiflash and not another folder)

3. Find the bios file you downloaded and rename the bios file to a 5 digit with .rom on the end, example RX 6900XT, name file r6900.rom (r****.rom)

4. Move your bios r****.rom to the "C:\atiflash" folder

5.Open the directory/folder, double click AMDVBFlashDriverInstaller.exe and allow it to install
YOU MUST INSTALL THIS FOR AMDVBFLASH TO WORK, YOU CAN UNINSTALL IT USING THE EXACT SAME .EXE

6. Open the start menu, type cmd, when cmd.exe appears right click it and hit "Run as administrator"

7. At the command prompt type in cd\ and press enter until only C:\> is on the screen.

8. Type in cd/atiflash and press enter, you should see C:\atiflash>

9. At C:\atiflash> type in amdvbflash.exe -i to identify your card with a 0, 1, or 2

10. At the C:\atiflash> prompt type in
amdvbflash.exe -p 0 r****.rom -fa -fp (or 1, 2)

(there is a space between amdvbflash.exe and -p, a space between -p and 0, a space between 0 and r****.rom, a space between r****.rom and -fa, and a space between -fa and -fp)

Press Enter.

Follow directions on screen and if flash is successful exit the command prompt and restart, windows should show up on monitor.

Boot into Windows and then follow the flash instructions of eidairaman1:
once I have followed all the steps I would have to do now

  1. Retire RX5700 XT del sistema
  2. Conecte la pantalla a los gráficos integrados
  3. Encienda el sistema y presione SUPR durante la POST para ingresar a la BIOS.
  4. Vaya a Configuración -> Avanzado -> Configuración de gráficos integrados
  5. Cambie "Iniciar adaptador gráfico" de PEG a IGD

Sorry I have troubles to understand you. Please write in English since that is the main language on this forum.

I'm sorry for the language. I've been doing what you told me and the graphics card doesn't recognize me, only the integrated one recognizes me and what could I do to make it work?

Can you share the output of "amdvbflash.exe -i" and a photo how the graphics card is physical installed in your system?

When connecting the fans it does work but do it in cmd amdvbflash.exe -i it still doesn't recognize the graphics card

The graphics card is maybe killed since you should have put the heatsink on before putting the graphics card back in your system.

Put the heatsink back on and connect the fans. Lets hope the card still works.

hahahaha don't tell me that my graphics card has died

Does the fan keep running on high speed on the graphics card or does it spin down after the power on self test? Can you make a small video when the system is turned on?
I am afraid the gpu of graphics card died due the absence of the heatsink.

Right now I can't make a video but when I turn it on the fans continue to run at high speed all the time every time I've used the graphic I've put the heat sink on so I don't think the GPU is dead because I didn't put the heat sink on afterwards. I will send you a video of how the fans work

Hello, here is the video that you asked me about the fans. I will upload it in a compressed file because if not, it won't let me send it. I hope you have a solution for my GPU

I do see the fan spinning slower on the video after it is powered on. That looks like the vbios is getting loaded. I think the graphics card can be debricked with a ch314a programmer.

@eidairaman1 Do you have ideas beside using a ch314a programmer what can be tried to debrick the graphics card?
